The staff of the
Calandtroop
The staff of the
Calandtroop is ONE team. Together we make all the decisions, solve all problems and have a
lot of fun. Every staffmember has one vote from the youngest scouter until the old
skipper. But we do not vote that much, we talk and find a compromise or we agree with the
ideas of the others.
It is normal in our
team that staffmembers from the cubs come along with seascout camps and weekends and that
seascoutleaders join the cubs on their camp. It makes you more aware of the way the others
work and gives you an opportunity to learn to know the boys as they learn to know you. It
helps to make the group a real unit.
In the close future we
will face some problems while some of our leaders will have to leave Scouting, because
their study asks to much of their time. On the other hand we will keep up the quality of
our team, we do not take everyone. We need young man or women who are responsible and
willing to do their best and are willing to fit in the existing team.
